Hotels
RateHawk inventory, live availability, prices and cancellation terms.
Case study · Yourny Travel & Leisure
Yourny brings trip planning, hotel search, group decisions and booking into one product. I built the mobile app, backend and technical operations as one connected system.
01 / Development snapshot
These screens document an earlier design phase of a product that continues to evolve.
02 / Product and journey
Yourny keeps preferences, favourites, availability and payments aligned throughout the group journey.
Capture destination, dates, rooms, budgets and amenity preferences.
Connect travellers by code and follow the planning status together.
Discover available properties, rate them and build personal shortlists.
Combine group preferences, review conditions and complete payment.
03 / System
The Flutter app talks to a Serverpod backend. PostgreSQL stores product and hotel data. Docker, migrations, monitoring and automated deployments keep the system manageable in production.
RateHawk inventory, live availability, prices and cancellation terms.
Mollie checkout plus status, refund and interruption cases in the booking flow.
Firebase for sign-in, push messages and configuration; Sentry for error monitoring.
Mapbox for destinations and location-based features in trip planning.
04 / Technical ownership
My work covered the product logic as well as the running system. App, backend and operations were designed together rather than in isolation.
Product logic
Group planning, hotel selection and booking became clear states and dependable workflows.
Delivery
The Flutter app, Serverpod backend, data model and external services work together directly.
Operations
Migrations, monitoring and deployments matter just as much as booking and payment failure cases.
